Neighbours stars April Rose Pengilly and Jodi Anasta have given fans fresh hope that their characters Chloe Brennan and Elly Conway will get back together in the future.
Chloe and Elly dated previously, but Chloe made the decision to end things with Elly's baby on the way. Chloe is now with Pierce Greyson.
Despite this, April praised 'Chelly' fans in a new Instagram post and described Chloe and Elly as a "beautiful love story".

"Words cannot describe how grateful I am to be part of this beautiful love story," April wrote. "It is a dream come true working with my darling @jodigordon and an unimaginable joy seeing how much this storyline means to so many people.
"The #Chelly fandom was something I never expected and will never take for granted."

It gets even better, as Jodi left a comment on the post passionately backing the pairing.
"Love love love!!" she said. "You're beyond a dream to work with, wifey. @aprilrosepengilly I know we'll fight for #Chelly till the end of our contracts, haha.

With both stars acknowledging the popularity of 'Chelly', we may not have seen the last of the couple.
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
