Paul and Terese reel after finding Harlow initiating a food fight between herself and Roxy. Harlow is mortified by her own actions and at being caught out by Gail, her long lost grandmother. As Roxy revels in Harlow's humiliation, Gail claims she is in town to get to know Harlow. Paul is pleased she's making a connection with their granddaughter, but Gail quickly puts Terese offside when she questions Harlow's living situation.

Gail can see the tension between Harlow and Roxy, and Harlow's emotional meltdown is a red flag for Gail. She's worried that living with Paul is detrimental to Harlow. Despite Paul's belief that Gail is harmless, Terese's instincts prove to be right when Gail accuses them of neglect and threatens to take Harlow away.

Meanwhile, Sheila attempts to make amends with Gary, but she's thwarted at every turn. Gary is still furious at his mother and has no intention of forgiving her. Amy and Kyle are both worried about the state of Gary and Sheila's relationship and their concern is affecting their mojo.

Sheila tries to get on with life, attempting to illicit donations for the Foundation from previous benefactors. However, her low mood is affecting her sales pitch and when Paul calls her on her terrible attitude, she snaps. How has Paul come out unscathed from their meddling, yet her entire life has fallen apart? Paul harshly suggests he's just better at life than Sheila is. Shattered by the mess she's made for herself, Sheila hits rock bottom.

Elsewhere, there's unrest at Number 30 as Shane and Yashvi find themselves at odds. Shane is still sour after Yashvi stood him up on their daddy-daughter date and Yashvi, sick of trying to apologise, is avoiding the house and spending more time with Ned. Dipi worries this is becoming a major problem and Ned and Toadie can also see that the fractured relationship needs to be fixed.

The men encourage Yashvi to make amends, while Dipi reminds Shane that for a long time he was disconnected with his own family and it's taken years to heal those relationships. She doesn't want history to repeat itself with Yashvi. Will Shane and Yashvi listen to the advice they're both being given?
