Paul is still having no luck deciding on a best man, while Rebecca is worried that their wedding is going to be a complete disaster and suggests that they elope instead. However, Paul is insistent that Rebecca wanted this marriage to be a fresh start and later suggests getting married on a yacht. While Rebecca initially agrees to the idea, they both later admit that neither one wants to marry on a yacht and Paul reveals that he has only been coming up with extravagant suggestions because he thought Rebecca wouldn't want to do something similar to what he has done in his previous weddings.
Lucas is desperate to speak to Elle, but - having overheard Lucas's confession at his Gamblers Anonymous meeting that he couldn't breathe in their relationship - Elle does everything within her power to avoid him, including treating the Ramsay kids to a rollerblading session and milkshakes.
Meanwhile, Lucas is visited by Vanessa, the woman who he took back to number 30 the night before, and her suggestion that they catch up some time for a date sparks Lucas into action to clean up his life and win Elle back. He cancels his tab at Charlie's Bar and gives Rebecca a strict list of conditions that he asks her to abide by when he is around.
Later, still struggling with the notion that Lucas believes she is boring, Elle is struck by an idea. With Lucas staying at the garage, Elle waltzes in and drops a bombshell on her ex-boyfriend.
Meanwhile, D-Day has arrived for Toadie and Callum with Sonya, a member from the guide dog puppy organisation, coming out to see how Rocky's training is progressing. Noting that some progress has been made with Rocky's training, Sonya agrees to help Toadie with his mission of training the little puppy.
