Kyle runs into Phoebe for the first time since their break-up. He asks why she just disappeared and didn't show up for her shifts at Angelo's, prompting her to admit that she thought it would be weird. Phoebe eventually agrees to come back to work. At Angelo's, it doesn't take long before Phoebe and Kyle are snapping at each other, which culminates in an argument over the Braxton family and their secrets. Phoebe quickly loses patience and quits.
Phoebe later vents to Kat and they toast their mutual frustration over men with wine. After several drinks, Phoebe decides that she still loves Kyle and she has made a big mistake giving up on them. Kat is thinking about her own dalliance with Nate and realises she too may have jumped the gun on ending things with him. Kat turns up to Nate's place drunk and turns on the moves. When Nate stops her, does this mean he is over her already?
Meanwhile, Ash goes to Denny to tell her about the deal with Gunno. She is furious that he is considering getting involved and risking his own life, but eventually understands that this is the only way to help both Brax and Ricky. Kyle realises that Ash is putting Denny in the same position she was in when Casey was killed. He tells Ash he's doing the drop instead, since he has nobody to lose anymore. Soon afterwards, Phoebe turns up looking for Kyle. When she sees Ash and Denny's evasive looks, she demands to know what's going on. They tell Phoebe that Kyle is doing a job for Gunno to save Brax.
