Justin fronts up to the Diner looking for reassurance that it's only temporary, but Leah can't give him that. After her insomnia persists and she can't remember Justin's offer to fix the other car from her accident, she lashes out.
With Theo having witnessed this, as well as tensions at home, Leah and Justin are forced to explain that the wedding won't be going ahead as intended.
Meanwhile, Levi continues to be a support to Mackenzie while she recovers from her recent heart surgery. He stays late to check on her, and when he realises her isolation has been a breeding ground for anxiety, he's quick to reassure her. In fact, he even settles in for the night to watch quiz shows with her.
Elsewhere, Remi confronts Bree at the hospital over why she lied that she was working when they were meant to spend time together. Bree explains herself – she felt awkward after meeting the Carters that Remi has their whole lives planned out. There are still things she wants to do with her own life, including her own goals. Remi is understanding, and Bree is relieved – it's not that she's unhappy with him.
While at the hospital, Remi recognises Doctor Levi and he rushes to Salt to find Eden – she won't believe who Mackenzie's heart specialist is. Eden realises that he's referring to her brother. Eden and Levi haven't spoken in years, and it's clear she's holding a grudge. Her brother took their father's side, abandoning their family.
With support and kind words from Cash about salvaging her sibling relationship, Eden decides to face her brother at the hospital. The two are finally face to face. Can Eden put aside her pain to reunite with her brother?
