At Justin's soft pitch for Theo at Salt, Forrest is impressed. He decides that he wants to hear Theo play tonight. Forrest comes back to the Morgan house for a beer, where Theo sings his and Kirby's song 'Someone Like You'. Leah privately confides in Justin, wondering whether it's a good idea to have organised this without warning the remaining members of Lyrik.
When Remi and Bree run into Theo the next morning, Remi has little patience for his bandmate and ends up throwing a punch at Theo. Bree is horrified and orders Remi to walk away.
When Bree Justin and Leah fuss over Theo later, Bree explains the reason Remi may have hit Theo – they had seen him having dinner with Forrest. For Theo though, a split lip doesn't negate opportunity, and Forrest swings by the Morgan house with news that delights Justin: he wants to sign Theo.

Later, Remi and Theo meet up so that Remi can apologise, conceding that he was way out of line. To Remi's surprise, Theo is more than gracious – not only does he accept his bandmate's apology, but he turned down the solo contract. Theo reveals that he still believes in Lyrik and Remi is overjoyed to hear this.
When Remi is alone with Bree later, he opens up about the altercation. He hates that he was that person to Theo, and he hates that he was that person in front of Bree. Can she move past it?
Meanwhile, Rose tells Mali that she still has Samuel on her mind. Mali encourages his girlfriend to act as she can't keep going on like this.
Later, Rose tells Mali that she doesn't want to see Samuel. Instead, she has written him a letter. If Samuel doesn't want to see her, he can just ignore it. Later, it's a big step for Rose when she drops off the letter at Samuel's. It seems it may have been the first of many when Rose received a phone call from Samuel later on.
