At Mercedes' motel room, Remi couldn't be clearer – he's in love with Bree. He says that if Mercedes comes back to record with them, it has to be for the band, rather than for him. When Mercedes still hasn't shown, Bree asks Remi directly what's going on. Remi is evasive as he heads to the studio.
At the studio, Mercedes surprises Remi when she turns up to play, and they're all set to record. However, Bree has decided to pop into the studio and overhears he and Mercedes discussing what happened between them.
Tegan and Andrew have spent time with each other and the social worker. Tegan is keen to talk to Justin and Leah alone. When she again raises the idea of Andrew living with her, Justin is resistant. Looking after Andrew is a big job, and Tegan's basically a child herself. Tensions are rife, but they both agree on one thing – Andrew should have a say in his future.
