Ava is challenged over her recent behaviour. She admits that, for once, she wanted someone to put her first. Justin is incredulous. It's all too late for Ava, who feels Justin was never there for her – there was always an excuse and now all his time is invested in Theo.
An incredulous Justin takes Ava to the police station to show the consequences of being an adult – he's facing jail time if convicted. Seeing the weight of what she has done, Ava apologises. The two connect and are determined to get to know each other better.
While Ava and Justin have forgiven each other, the same can't be said for Leah. She's upset Justin isn't understanding or acknowledging what he's done – he's straight into Ava about her choices without realising the choices he's made.
