Being a committed uncle, Mali knows what Dean is in for when the baby comes. He suspects this small job at the board shop could turn into something bigger, but isn't sure whether he's ready for that as he has a big loving family back in Mantaray Point.

The new job is a big ask, but Mali can see the allure of Summer Bay – including great beaches and friendly people. Mali decides he's ready for a change. Dean is stoked, as the shop will be in good hands.

Meanwhile, Felicity puts on a convincing performance to allay Tane's concerns. But beneath the surface, she's struggling. Trying to cope, Felicity smuggles a bottle of scotch from work into her handbag. With Eden stuck in a coma, and Cash keeping his distance, the bottle is Felicity's only solace.
