Strapped to a chair as hostage, Remi is helpless to protect Bree from Jacob's violence. Refusing to believe Bree's denial of love for Remi, Jacob brutally smashes Remi's bound hand with a hammer. An agonised Remi tries to conceal his pain for Bree's sake.

Bree is forced into a sickening ultimatum: either leave with Jacob, or Remi faces further violence. In a bid to save Remi, Bree reluctantly leaves with Jacob.

Kirby can't shake the bad feeling that something awful has happened to Remi, as a mystery guy came looking for him at the house. Catching wind of the situation, Mackenzie warns that if the man was Bree's husband Jacob, they should be alarmed.
