Bree rushes back to her motel room following the news about Jacob, but she's in such a state that she can't even bear to look at her ringing phone. Remi rushes back to her motel room to find her petrified. It gets worse for Bree, as she learns that Jacob has emptied out their bank accounts.
The police inform Bree that Jacob hasn't tried leaving the state and if he reaches out to her, they will arrest him. Remi wants to take Bree back to his place, but Bree is afraid for Remi and doesn't want to put him or his friends in danger. A determined Remi makes the decision that if she's not going to come back to his, he will stay at the motel to protect her.
Meanwhile, Jai has made a painting depicting Ziggy, Dean and the baby happily living together, while he's outside in the rain. Dean doesn't know what to do. After seeing Mackenzie's strong reaction to the painting, Dean seeks out her opinion.

Ziggy admits to Justin that she loves how much Dean cares about Jai, but she wishes he would also focus on them – especially as they don't even have a nursery ready yet. Mackenzie decides to move out so Justin can help turning her room into a nursery.
