Xander gives non-monogamy a go with Stacey, but Stacey is wary that Xander may be too attached. When Xander invites Stacey for lunch, she has already got a date. Deflated, Xander accepts they are playing by Stacey's rule book.
Stacey gets friendly with Nikau, with the two finding an easy banter. Nikau is shocked when Stacey flirtatiously asks him out on a date. Nikau is confused, since he thought Stacey was with Xander. Nikau tells Xander that Stacey asked him out. Xander is uneasy. Perhaps non-exclusivity is hitting too close to home.
Meanwhile, Ziggy generously offers to help Theo smash out his assignment overnight. Following Theo's aggressive outburst, Kirby revs off in a fury. Justin and Leah notice the tension between the young couple, encouraging Theo to make amends.
Elsewhere, Mackenzie idly wonders what baby names Dean and Ziggy have in mind. When they have none, Ziggy begins to worry. The couple put together a list of their favourite names. First names they can agree on. But when it comes to the last name, it's another matter altogether.
