A resolved Cash demands to be released from hospital, but Bree strongly advises against it. After Felicity sees that Cash isn't sleeping at the hospital, she negotiates a care plan with Bree that allows Cash to recover at home. Apprehensive about Cash going back to Jasmine's old house, Felicity brings Cash back to her and Tane's.
Despite Tane's warm welcome, Cash is stoic and wants to be in his room alone. Felicity tries to seem upbeat, but away from Cash, she's crumbling under the pressure.
Alone in his room, Cash unpacks his bag and discovers the engagement ring, still in the box. When Felicity discovers her brother holding the ring, she learns that Cash was going to propose. Felicity's heart breaks for her brother.

Elsewhere, a wary Marilyn tells Irene about her bad gut feeling regarding Heather. Brushing aside Marilyn's concerns as hocus pocus, Irene offers a homeless Heather a room for the night. The next day, when Roo hands over the keys to a caravan for Heather, Marilyn can't ignore her concern. Turning to her tarot cards, Marilyn is shocked to discover an omen. But when Marilyn delivers this warning to Roo, an exasperated Roo disregards it.
