Dean's first night of caring for his son turns disastrous when Jai's temperature rockets and Amber doesn't answer his calls. Finally, it's Ziggy who comes to Dean's aid.
When Tori comes to help, Dean feels lost and realises he doesn't know much about his own son. Tori recommends Dean take Jai to the hospital, where he spends the night.
The following morning, when Ziggy runs into Willow, the pair are concerned that Amber heading out to the clubs has turned into something more sinister. When Amber surfaces the next morning, Dean gives her a grilling but she feels terrible about the entire situation.

Meanwhile, Tori and Christian enjoy a dinner together at Salt, where Christian digs a little deeper into Tori's life. She's forced to tell him about Robbo, which surprises Christian. He's even more impressed with the type of person Tori is. But their dinner is cut short when a worried Ziggy calls Tori and asks for her help.
When Justin is finally discharged from hospital, Christian takes the opportunity to woo Tori again, but once again Tori makes a fool of herself in front of the hot doctor.
Elsewhere, Alf and John discuss Dean's absence from the board shop and when Angelo over-hears this, he attempts to get information about Dean from them. But Alf learned his lesson from Angelo when he put Irene in the middle of Bella's drama and remains a vault, reminding Angelo to direct his questioning to Dean. John divulges more information than Alf is comfortable with.
