Justin's recovery is full steam ahead, with his MRI results due back today. Leah makes a start on her errands, leaving Grace in Justin's care at the hospital.
Justin intercepts Jasmine and the two put to bed their past differences. Justin's scan is brought forward, and he leaves Grace in Jasmine's care, much to Leah's surprise when she returns, creating an awkward situation and undoing the past truce.
Meanwhile, Roo confides in Marilyn over Owen's odd behaviour. Marilyn offers that perhaps Alf was too hard on him. Roo retraces her actions and is convinced she applied too much pressure to their budding relationship.
Ryder confronts Owen and demands he makes amends with Roo. Owen reveals today is his birthday, which has triggered feelings of grief about Evan. Ryder is shattered to have forgotten his dad's memory, so Roo hatches a plan to have a birthday party for the two and it goes off without a hitch.
