Home and Away spoilers follow.
Home and Away star Cameron Daddo will be making a surprising return, but it won't be as his character Evan Slater.
Recently, Ryder Jackson's father said goodbye and left Summer Bay, as he grew weaker from his terminal illness. A couple of weeks ago, Australian viewers saw Ryder receiving the tragic news of Evan's death – in scenes that will air in the UK soon.

But it's not the last we've seen of Daddo on the show. Speaking to Woman's Day, the actor confirmed that he will be returning not as Evan but as Evan's long-lost twin brother Owen.
"Fortunately, I had some time between playing the two characters. I was able to put Evan 'to bed' and then create the backstory of Owen," Daddo said. "Thankfully, I never played the two at the same time. Now that would have been fun!

"I was thrilled when the idea of Owen was pitched to me."
Daddo previously told Digital Spy that his original exit as Evan was "bittersweet" as he loved being on the show so much – and even hoped there would be some way to extend his stay.
"I was happy at the beginning that it was going to be a short run, then about 10 weeks in, I wanted to stay because it's so good," he said. "I was like, 'Do I have to die? Can we find a cure?' It was bittersweet."
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia).
