The stranger claiming to be Ryder's dad is faced with an angry young man who's refuting the claim. However, after speaking with his mother, Ryder is faced with the truth that Evan really is his dad. Evan tries to explain to Roo the reasons for his sudden return, but given that he abandoned his son as a child, he now has an uphill battle to win Ryder over.
Despite Roo's best efforts, Ryder wants nothing to do with this man. When Roo sees Evan again, she recommends he should just forget his idea of reconciling with Ryder and walk away altogether.
Evan tries one last time to convince Ryder to talk, but he's again met with a wall of resistance. This time, Evan chooses to let it go and leave, but not before giving Roo his business card in case she needs to contact him.
Meanwhile, Jasmine and Colby awkwardly cross paths after their drunken kiss. Colby offers to discuss what happened, but it's too much for Jasmine and she bails. Willow later finds Jasmine in the midst of a panic attack. After some encouraging words, Willow convinces Jasmine to talk things out with Colby.
Jasmine is wracked with guilt and tries to explain herself, but she weighs all the blame and responsibility on herself. Colby is a sympathetic ear to Jasmine and the pair sort out their differences.
After a day of reflection, Colby warns Jasmine to stay away from him because he's not good for her given his current headspace. But regardless of what Colby says, Jasmine takes the news hard, blaming herself.
