Bella is off by herself, taking out her frustrations by smacking things with a piece of wood. Alex overhears and notices Bella's hand is bleeding. Despite Bella's hostility, Alex brings Bella to the Diner to clean the wound. Irene is concerned so Bella admits that she's angry with Colby and Mac. Colby learns about the injury, although the cut is not deep. Irene insists the pair go for a long walk.
Mac receives some unsolicited advice from Ryder – Colby is all Bella has, so that's why she is so protective. The siblings finally get to their issues – Mac ending the relationship with Colby hurt Bella too. Colby gets it now but is shocked by the depths of Bella's mistrust of people. She is adamant they will always be broken and it's them against the world.
Colby lets Mac know he needs time to deal with Bella's issues but hopes that doesn't cost him too much. Mac implies she is not going anywhere – she will wait but not forever.

Meanwhile, Jasmine and Robbo arrive back in the Bay, welcoming Grace to her new home. They interrupt Colby and Bella arguing, but Colby is happy to see them. Jasmine is nervous about parenthood but more concerned by how full-on Robbo is with Grace – he won't rest for a second.
After a lovely reunion with Irene, Jasmine admits that she fears Robbo is pushing himself to breaking point and will crash and burn. She pleads with him to rest but Robbo doesn't see the issue. After Justin angrily demands custody of Grace, Jasmine makes the mistake of suggesting it might not be such a bad idea – at least for a few days. Robbo feels betrayed and angrily accuses her of not being on his side.
