Having followed Charlie and Ruby back to Summer Bay, Grant tries to force his way into the house to tell Ruby his side of the story but Charlie manages to get rid of him. Later, Grant manages to convince Leah to give him Ruby's number and he arranges to meet with his daughter to tell her his side of the story.
Charlie is livid when she discovers what has happened and, with Angelo's help, manages to track down Ruby. However, Ruby insists that having heard Grant's side of the story she isn't scared of him before later adding that she's staying at Irene's for a little longer.
At the hospital, Nicole tries to convince Indigo that she pursued Sid, not the other way around, but Indigo doesn't believe her. Meanwhile, Jody blames Sid for Indigo's accident for not keeping a proper eye on her.
Later, a surgeon tells Indigo that her injuries should be easy to treat and Jody announces that she's taking both Indigo and Dexter back to the city with her. Dexter isn't pleased at the thought of moving back to the city, but Indigo has a word to her brother and convinces him to go.
Annie is left heartbroken by the news that Dexter is returning to the city while Sid is devastated to have lost both his children. Meanwhile, as Indigo is wheeled out of hospital, she refuses to acknowledge Nicole, leaving her friend upset at the reality that she's destroyed so many lives.
