Hollyoaks star Nathan Sussex has hinted at what's to come after his character Buster Smith was finally caught in Wednesday evening's first-look E4 episode as part of the child grooming storyline.
After Ollie Morgan and Brody Hudson broke their silence and went to the police to report the football coach, Buster was taken in for questioning.
Eventually, Damon Kinsella and Marnie Nightingale realised the truth and turned against him, leading to police to arrest Buster for sex abuse.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Sussex confirmed that Buster will continue to appear on the soap and that there will be a trial.
"Obviously the viewers will want to see justice," he said. "I attended a screening on Monday in Manchester. It was a special preview of all of this week's episodes. A comment was made by Duncan Craig, who runs charity Survivors Manchester – what he didn't want Hollyoaks to do was tie everything up in a nice, neat bow.
"What that means is, you will see some justice. But it's for Hollyoaks not to show that everything is neat and not to show that there is justice for everyone, because it doesn't always happen that way.

"But I think viewers will be happy to see some justice, and that could happen."
Sussex added that he is "still contracted" to Hollyoaks, which suggests that he's around for a bit longer, although the actor acknowledges that, due to the nature of the character, there will be a time when Buster is written out.
"I haven't left," he said. "But obviously with a storyline like this, there is no sort of positive outcome for a character like mine.
"When the time does come, I will be very sad to leave because it's a fantastic show to work on. It's a show that I watched when I was growing up as a teenager. It will be very sad indeed because I've had such a great experience on the show."
Hollyoaks airs on weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look screenings at 7pm on E4.
