Hollyoaks aired Milo Entwistle's final scenes tonight (August 30) after that horrifying car cliffhanger.
Last night's (August 29) dramatic E4 episode saw the Cunninghams finally learn that Milo (Nathan Morris) was responsible for road accident that killed Gordon and Helen in 2004.
Milo also nearly killed Cindy to keep his dark secret under wraps, but he later tried to redeem himself by saving Tom (Ellis Hollins) from being crushed by a falling car – sacrificing himself in the process.
As promised, Hollyoaks confirmed Milo's fate tonight – revealing that he had somehow managed to miraculously survive the ordeal, but at a high price.
When the Cunninghams paid him a visit in hospital, a remorseful Milo explained that he was being transferred to a rehab centre in Birmingham, where he would hopefully regain his mobility.
After that, Milo has a bleak future ahead as he's now facing a prison sentence, having told the police everything.

It wasn't all bad news for Milo though, as he was delighted that the Cunninghams had decided to forgive him for all his misdeeds and left things on a touching note with Tom in particular.
Milo's last scene saw him being waved off into an ambulance, after promising Cindy and Tom that they would never have to see him again.
Tonight's episode brings an end to Nathan Morris's one-year stint on the show, having played Milo since last summer.
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
