Hollyoaks has dropped a big hint that Sami Maalik could live to regret his revenge mission against James Nightingale.
Sami (Rishi Nair) has been secretly plotting against his fellow lawyer for weeks now – wanting to make James pay for crossing his family in the past.
Sami has discovered that James (Gregory Finnegan) set up his father for a crime he didn't commit, which later led to the Maaliks' dad tragically taking his own life.
With the plot currently heating up on screen, Hollyoaks has now assigned Sami a Card of Fate which hints at his future.
Sami has been given the Emperor card, with the show teasing: "Sami will never give up on his fight against James, but will he lose everything else along the way…? #CardsOfFate #Fortune #Misfortune #Fate #Danger #Revenge #Vendetta #Family #Hollyoaks #Future."
Hollyoaks' new clue hints that Sami could ultimately pay a high price for his revenge mission, but we'll have to stay tuned to find out how serious things get for him.

The show is currently assigning mystical Cards of Fate to various characters on its official Instagram page. This ties in with next week's big Valentine's Day episode, which will feature flashforward scenes to the future.

Last night's E4 episode saw James figure out that Sami was trying to get him sent to jail for pimping out Harry Thompson.
