Hollyoaks has sent eight of its cast members off to Ibiza this weekend as filming gets under way on an exciting summer storyline.

Last month, it was revealed that the show will be shooting on the Spanish party island for some unmissable scenes airing as part of Hollyoaks' annual "Six Weeks of Summer" episodes later this year.

When news of the storyline first leaked out, Holly Cunningham (Amanda Clapham), Tom Cunningham (Ellis Hollins) and Ellie Nightingale (Sophie Porley) were named as the cast involved – but they'll actually be joined out there by five other co-stars.

The other characters involved are Prince McQueen (Malique Thompson-Dwyer), Hunter McQueen (Theo Graham), Alfie Nightingale (Richard Linnell), Neeta Kaur (Amrit Maghera) and Sally St Claire (Annie Wallace).

Hollyoaks stars began preparing for the on-location specials with a cast read-through earlier this week, as you can see in our exclusive video below:

Sally St Claire can be seen taking charge in this particular scene as she issues some Ibiza ground rules, but watch this space for more details on the Ibiza storylines to come and why the various characters are all out there.
