Hollyoaks star Twinnie-Lee Moore has already revealed that she is taking on the music industry following her exit from the Channel 4 soap, and her debut single can now be heard online.
The actress filmed her final scenes as Porsche McQueen last month after only a year in the role, following the announcement that she wouldn't be renewing her contract.
Moore later revealed via Twitter that she would be releasing an EP in 2016, hot on the heels of her debut solo single, which has now been confirmed for release on January 18.
Titled 'Cool', the song combines pop and country influences, and is the first track to be released from her currently unnamed album. You can listen to it here.
Despite having a successful acting career, Moore has insisted that her passion has always been with music.
"While it was fun, I always felt it's not what I really wanted to be doing," she said. "I desperately wanted to be an artist."
What to Read Next
Moore recently explained her change in direction during a chat with Digital Spy, saying: "I'm moving on to pastures new and we'll see what happens next.
"I do a lot of songwriting and I'm signed by Universal, so that's my first passion, even before doing films and TV.
"I've also done a lot of musical theatre in the past and that's where my heart lies. I miss the theatre and that instant buzz you get when you're on stage."
Cool' is out January 18, 2016 on TLM Records.
