At Dee Valley Hospital, Leela's labour is progressing. She's in pain and panicking that Joel won't be there and something might go wrong. Joel has ignored her call, as he's on a quest to find Cleo.
Leela is distraught that Cleo has led to Joel leaving her in her hour of need, but Abe insists Cleo is 1,000 miles away.

Things settle down at the hospital when the midwife shows Leela the baby has a strong and healthy heartbeat and everything is progressing normally. She just needs to reach Joel.
Joel races to Leela's side, as Leela is forced to have Abe as her birthing partner. Joel arrives after their daughter. It's a touching bedside scene as the Lomax family gather.
Later, once alone, Leela can't stop crying. She tells Joel she is just overwhelmed.
Back at the flat, Abe is shocked when Cleo surprises him with new wedding plans. Cleo wants to get away from Hollyoaks – just the two of them for a fresh start.
Meanwhile, Misbah tears a trip off Grace for getting Mercedes the drugs, saying she has jeopardised Mercedes's health. Grace doesn't care, but Misbah insists Grace has to help restore Mercedes' faith in the hospital treatment that is available and get her back attending her appointments.
At Casa McQueen, Mercedes and Grace argue with Misbah stuck in the middle. Mercedes is angry and upset and insists she's not going back to her treatment plan and is doing it 'her way'.
