Abe catches Mercedes in the Youth Centre, going through his locker. Abe tells Mercedes that he was on the phone to his mum the previous day and he knows Cleo has been through a lot with her bulimia.
Meanwhile, Rose speaks to Diane about wanting to tell her something, but not wanting anyone else to know yet. Diane returns to The Dog to find Cindy and Suzanne arguing about the past. This results in Cindy throwing a drink in Suzanne's face. Diane kicks them both out before she dashes off to pick Tony up.
Rushing to get home to Rose, Diane runs a red light, which is seen by passing police. When they catch up to her, she asks Tony to say he was driving as she had wine at lunch. Diane is arrested for driving over the limit. When Tony steps in to protect his wife, he is also put in cuffs.
Elsewhere, Cindy is planning her and Dave's big day, but when she realises how little money they have to go towards it, she tells her fiancé she's going to get a job. Cindy apologises to Dave for going on about money and he shows her a job advertisement for Price Slice, which interests Cindy.
Also today, Zain overhears Misbah tell Sharon she's worried there's no passion in their marriage. Misbah is distraught to find out Zain heard her conversation and now isn't going to the ball with her, instead wanting space from her.
