Later Romeo is introduced to his new cellmate, drug dealer Kane.
Unknown to Romeo, Kane is the person that his father has pinned Ella Richardson's death on in order to protect his husband Ste.
James had previously visited the prison to threaten Kane, telling him he'd already found out where the dealer's daughter goes to school.
The lawyer also ominously threatened: "You'll plead guilty to the hit-and-run… or hell will be a walk in the park compared to what I'll put you and yours through."
In the prison yard Kane tried to get to know Romeo, who was visibly shaken up by his cellmate's death. Romeo revealed to him that his mother was an addict and he'd seen her overdose as a child.
Kane responded: "People do crazy things when they're locked up, especially when they don't deserve to be."
Romeo also told him that his father was "worried sick," about him being in prison but Kane assured him that he would protect him.
But later things took a turn when Romeo asked Kane why he was in prison. Kane told him that there'd been a hit and run and a lawyer had "fitted me up for it."
A shocked Romeo replied: "Is there nothing you can do?" To which Kane answered: "His son's in the same prison as me... he's my new cellmate."
Then, with the guards distracted by a fight, Kane grabbed Romeo and planted a weapon on him.

A terrified Romeo then had to phone his father so Kane could make a threat. Kane told James that he was the reason he's in prison but now their situation has changed.
"Do exactly what I say or your son's leaving prison in a body bag," he threatened.
What will James do? Will he be able to protect both his son and his husband?
