John Paul attends one of Carter's sessions. Unable to continue to allow him to practise conversion therapy, he calls him out even though Carter continues to threaten him over his job.
Carter opens up to John Paul on how, although he can be his true self around him, he's worried what it'll do to his daughter if she finds out. Freya then comes through the door.
Carter admits to a hurting John Paul that he can see the damage he's doing to him with his continuous lying and agrees to stop practising conversion therapy. Outside the school, the two men share a kiss, which is caught on camera without them realising.
