Ste and James are both struggling with guilt and are wanting to make amends with their recently-burnt friendships with Sienna and Maxine, but when James attempts to patch things up at work with his colleague and friend, he is met with resistance.
Things go from bad to worse for the lawyer when DS Zoe comes to bring him in after receiving information about stolen evidence from the police station.

Over at The Loft, Sienna is feeling bitter about not being able to create her dream life, but Ethan jumps in as her knight in shining armour and tells her about a tip off he received from a friend for the horse races. Determined to do anything she needs to have the life she wants, Sienna agrees to the bet.
Meanwhile, over at The Dog, Tony is getting the place ready ahead of the Eurovision celebrations. A rushed-off-his feet Scott is shocked to learn that Auntie Diane went to school with his new employer, Eurovision superstar Sonia, but the surprises don't stop there for Scott when Vicky skips school to let him know she has managed to hunt down Juan, who caught his eye at a recent Eurovision party.
Scott is left feeling deflated when Vicky arrives with the wrong Juan. However, Diane is determined for her nephew not to give up on love and after contacting her old school friend Sonia they manage to reunite the two men.
Elsewhere, at the McQueens', Goldie is tricked into speaking to Mercedes again and is convinced into calling her boss for a pay rise. When the video call doesn't go to plan, Mercedes jumps to her cousin's defence and tells Norma exactly why the nail technician deserves the extra money.
Mercedes and Goldie overhear the conversation between the couple. Successful scheming and an accidental slip-up leads to the "winning" horse's name in the hands of the McQueen cousins. Things look bleak for James as he's interrogated down at the station.
