Juliet has a PET scan today to determine if her cancer treatment is working. Peri is taken by surprise when Juliet shows such an interest in Ste and James' wedding planning, which leads to her opening up about her difficult childhood, and always wanting to go to the seaside.
Feeling inspired, Peri surprises her with the idea to go to Brighton whilst they wait for the scan results. However, when Peri can't afford to foot the bill, she turns to Ste and James for help.

James is reluctant at first, thinking it's not worth the risk to his sister's health, but Ste persuades him to help.
Meanwhile, Misbah is invited to a job interview for a clinic in Chester today, and is encouraged by her family to give it a go. Later, she tells Imran how well the interview went, but passer-by Sally feels she's not being truthful.
Elsewhere, Norma's plan is set in motion as she breaks into Sienna's flat and rifles through her things, but what is she looking for?
