Hollyoaks star Gary Lucy has shared an update after his Boxing Day car accident, showing off a nasty bruise.
Last week, the Luke Morgan actor and his girlfriend, Love Island's Laura Anderson, shared photos of a mangled car and Lucy all banged up in a hospital gown and later in crutches.
Since then, Lucy shared a photo of his knee on his Instagram Stories with a nasty-looking and very purple bruise, with a caption reading "So pretty" alongside a vomit emoji.

The actor's injuries didn't stop the couple from travelling to celebrate the New Year in style, however.
The star made his final appearance as Luke in Hollyoaks last year, having played him on-and-off since 1999 and featuring in some major storylines along the way. His character was killed off last year, after falling off a cliff and succumbing to his injuries.

The actor also appeared on ITV's The Bill for more than 160 episodes between 2005 and 2010, as well as EastEnders between 2012 and 2014.
Lucy was previously married to Natasha Gray, with whom he shares four children; two sons and two daughters. Anderson was paired with Wes Nelson, Jack Fowler and Paul Knops on her series of Love Island, and later dated Dane Bowers.

The duo both appeared on the latest series of E4's Celebs Go Dating, where famous faces are meant to try and find love with members of the public. But, as often happens on the show, they ended up in a relationship with each other.
Hollyoaks streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
