Hollyoaks' Goldie McQueen has fled from the village after another series of rows surrounding the tragic death of her brother Sylver.

This week's episodes have seen the McQueen family torn apart after Goldie uncovered the video evidence which proved Bobby's guilt over Sylver's death.

Viewers know that Mercedes' 10-year-old son made a deliberate decision to leave Sylver to die after the explosion at Marnie Nightingale's patisserie in January.

Bobby knew Sylver's location in the destroyed building and had the chance to raise the alarm, but he lied that he hadn't seen his stepdad.

Sylver recorded a video message in his final moments alive, which gave away Bobby's secret.

In Thursday's first-look episode (November 10), Goldie continued to clash with her family over their decision to keep supporting Mercedes and Bobby.

Goldie felt that Bobby deserved to face the consequences of his actions, but Mercedes, Nana, John Paul and Theresa were determined not to involve the police.

After another heated discussion over the family rift, Goldie realised that her loved ones wouldn't change their minds.

John Paul and Theresa were saddened to later find a note from Goldie at the McQueen house, revealing that she had decided to leave.

Goldie wrote: "I can't stand by and let you all ignore how Sylver died. It hurts too much.

"My big bro deserved better, and deep down, you all know that."

Goldie was seen walking away from the village, dragging a large suitcase behind her.

Digital Spy can confirm that this wasn't a permanent exit for Goldie and she'll be back in the village at a later date.
