Hollyoaks airs Wendy story twist as she tries to take Bobby away

Hollyoaks is heading towards its big death twist next week with some more twists in the Wendy Blissett storyline.

Silas' evil daughter recently returned to the village in order to tear the McQueen family apart and nearly killed Sally after the latter suffered a heart attack. She then snuck into her hospital room to try and finish the job.

After Misbah Maalik overheard Sally's warning to get young Bobby away from Wendy (who wants to steal him away as he's Silas' paternal great-grandson), Mercedes learned the truth and stepped into action.

It was a race against time as Wendy tricked Bobby into stealing his own passport to go on their impromptu 'trip' to America.

Unfortunately for Wendy and Silas, but thankfully for everyone else, she got back to her car and saw the tire had been clamped. In the stress of the moment, she let loose that "Grandpa Silas" was going to kill her if she failed, leaving Bobby stunned.

What to Read Next

Bobby said that he couldn't go and see Silas in person because he's a bad man, but Wendy slowly convinced him that he would have a better life in America. Or at least she thought she had, as Bobby texted for help as soon as Wendy's back was turned.

Thanks to Bobby's text, the McQueens managed to trick Wendy. As she got into a taxi, the doors locked as Mercedes revealed herself as the driver, while John Paul and Goldie kept Bobby safe.

"Destination's changed, love. And you are in for a treat," Mercedes said with a devilish grin.

Of course, the storyline isn't finished yet, as a shocking death in next week's episodes will throw a massive wrench into things.

Hollyoaks now streams first on All 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and 7pm on E4.
