Serena Chen-Williams has finally revealed her true feelings for Sid Sumner in Hollyoaks.

While the main story in the latest E4 instalment involved a surprise death twist, there was also some new drama in the soap's teen love triangle.

For those who need a refresher, Sid previously dated Serena but has more recently embarked on a serious relationship with her sister Lizzie. Serena has responded by isolating herself from the couple.

Lizzie assumed Serena meant she didn't like Sid because of their own romantic past, but was insistent that the trio would get along.

She devised a fool-proof plan to get her boyfriend and her sister to like each other by sending them together to see The Batman as a bonding experience.

When a nervous Sid excused himself to the toilet, Lizzie told her sister: "[This] is the best way to squash things."

Serena admitted she was nervous to be alone with Sid. Lizzie asked what she was "missing", so her sibling finally came clean with how she is feeling.

"I don't hate him, at all," Serena confessed. "I like him."
