Hollyoaks saw Nancy reach the last straw in tonight's episode when Darren still didn't make it home to her and the kids, as he is still being held captive.
Darren has been missing since he was kidnapped earlier this month, but Nancy believes that he simply left out of his own volition and left them behind.

In tonight's (November 26) episode, Nancy was ready to give Darren one last chance if he showed up before the end of the day – otherwise, she would move on.
"I've just about come to terms with the fact that he's left me," she tells Jack, who thinks that Darren will be back with his tail between his legs before she knows it.

Meanwhile, Darren is doing everything in his power to send a message out to her. When his kidnapper is out of the room, he manages to get hold of his phone and calls Nancy, but his mobile runs out of battery before the call can go through.
After managing to lose his restraints, he finds a phone in the hotel room and connects it to the landline and immediately calls Nancy. But his first few attempts fall through as Nancy is on the line with someone else and the next call goes to voicemail, since Nancy doesn't recognise the number and believes it was one of the scammers that have been bothering her recently.
The kidnapper walks back into the room before Darren can leave a message and points a gun at him while he rips the cable out of the wall.

Nancy tries to contact Darren one last time with a text begging him to come home as she is already starting to get rid of his stuff. She brings a bag of his belongings to Luke who, after realising his lucky shirt is still here, becomes determined to find his best mate. But his family fear his FTD (frontotemporal dementia) is fuelling his obsession.
Later, the kidnapper replies to Nancy's text impersonating Darren and explaining that he has met somebody new and won't be coming home.
Is that going to be the nail in the coffin for her hopes of Darren's return or will she be persuaded by Luke's idea that he's being kept against his will?
