Hollyoaks spoilers ahead
Hollyoaks' Ste Hay is about to finally unravel the truth about John Paul McQueen and his partner James Nightingale thanks to some CCTV footage in upcoming episodes.
This revelation begins from next Tuesday (August 10) on Channel 4, when Summer Ranger makes a cake for Leah Barnes's family.
Liberty Savage is still being held captive by Summer, and wrongly believes that she murdered Leah in the forest during her escape recently (she was knocked unconscious but quickly recovered).

Suffering a guilty conscience, Liberty then sneaks a condolence note in with the cake which is be delivered to Leah's house.

After Summer drops it off, Ste discovers the card inside, jumping to the conclusion that Leah's attacker is playing tricks.
He grows so paranoid about it that he reaches out to Fergus Collins for help, who happily offers to install CCTV around the house – playing into his secret operation of spying on the village.

Meanwhile, a necklace mysteriously arrives through the post for Peri Lomax, which jolts Ste into action by accepting Fergus's seemingly kind gesture.
Timmy Simons is sent round to the house with cameras, but his nervousness kicks in when he realises that Peri is about.
Further into next week's tense episodes, Ste is monitoring the CCTV with Timmy when John Paul and James show up, agreeing to keep their lips sealed about kissing each other.
