Hollyoaks star Connor Calland has revealed a major change of dynamics for his character Jordan Price when newcomer Victor joins the show.

Show bosses have cast Ripper Street actor Benjamin O'Mahony in the role of dangerous Victor, who's Jordan's boss in the County Lines drugs gang.

So far, viewers have seen Jordan seemingly calling all the shots, as he has recruited Sid Sumner and Juliet Nightingale as his helpers for drugs jobs. However, when Victor arrives, we'll see Jordan under similar pressure to please his own boss.

"A lot of people have labelled me as the bad guy, which I am. But if you think I'm bad, there's another thing coming.

"Victor brings an element of unpredictability and aggression that maybe Jordan lacks as much as him. I think Jordan brings those elements to the show, but when Victor comes in, he brings a lot more and turns it up another notch.

"The way you see Sid and Juliet with Jordan, is going to be how you'll see Jordan with Victor. It's going to be a very interesting dynamic, because where that does leave Sid and Juliet? Who knows?"

This week, Hollyoaks fans have seen Jordan try to recruit Charlie Dean as his next helper. While Sid and Juliet were away on a school trip, Jordan reeled in Charlie by bonding with him over computer games.

Connor added: "Jordan's long-term plans are to have a successful business. If that involves Charlie, that involves Charlie. I think he feels sympathy for Charlie, but he also sees it as a business and he's conflicted with those two views.

"I can't tell you my long-term plans for Charlie because it's a secret! Charlie is involved with plans down the line, as we've seen in the flashforward episode."
