Hollyoaks: Darren tries to move forward

Darren puts on a brave face and promises Mandy that the old Darren is back. However, Darren struggles when he's left alone in the flat.

With Luke and Kyle's help, Darren gets through the day, until they go home when the darkness descends again. He pretends to be asleep when Mandy gets home.

Meanwhile, Juliet is desperate for James and Marnie not to find out that she has been dealing drugs. Sid tries to appeal to Jordan's sense of family to get Juliet off the hook, but Jordan makes his feelings perfectly clear. Juliet decides to come clean to her family before Jordan does.

Elsewhere, Edward is increasingly irritated by Tony and Diane's PDAs. Verity arrives to spend the day with her dad on what would have been his wedding anniversary with her mum. Realising that life's too short, Edward tells Diane that he's going to reveal their affair to Tony.

Also today, uncomfortable Ollie is dressed in a bin bag for a photoshoot about sustainability, while eager Imran takes the photos with help from over-enthusiastic Tom playing the part of wind machine. They present their environmental project idea to Brooke and Courtney, but Brooke has come up with a much better subject matter for them – all their efforts were wasted.
