Cindy refuses to spend Christmas with heartbreaker Luke when he turns up at Mandy's flat. He leaves, but Darren can tell how cut up Luke is after his diagnosis.
Darren refuses to let Luke spend Christmas alone and drags him back to the flat. It's awkward across the dinner table as Cindy flaunts her new online love interest, Jurgen, in Luke's face. As tensions rise, there's a life-changing revelation.
Meanwhile, Sienna gets everything she wants for Christmas when she unwraps her dream doll's house and Liberty reveals that she's pregnant. However, Maxine is all alone on Christmas Day and is shunned by Damon in the village.
At the Deveraux flat, Walter insists that they must all attend his Christmas sermon. Walter throws jibes at Martine about not raising her children, but she asks her dad to give her a chance with Mitchell.

This inspires Walter to change the topic of his heavily-rehearsed sermon, to talk about family. Sienna is inspired by his words and asks Maxine and Minnie to have Christmas dinner with them – she'll deal with Damon.
Damon reluctantly lets Maxine join him and Minnie as they play with Minnie's new inflatable ice palace that he bought her. However, he's annoyed when Maxine takes some cold and flu tablets. He thinks she's trying to suck him back in again through sympathy, but Maxine has got a cold.
Later, Sienna goes to get batteries for Brody's drone that she has bought him. She gives it a test run in the village, but it gets stuck in some bunting and points to the open window of Sienna's flat.
Meanwhile, Toby and Celeste reject Darren's invite for a Christmas drink, as they've got their own plans, but Celeste is worried that they're playing with fire.
Elsewhere, Nana has returned from Spain and gets the whole village in the Christmas spirit by leading a festive conga line at The Dog. She decides to build the McQueen family back to what it used to be after a difficult year.
