Hollyoaks' executive producer Bryan Kirkwood has spoken to Digital Spy about plans for another huge stunt this autumn.
The show will be following its annual tradition of airing a big, show-stopping spectacle this October – and as always, the stakes will be high.
Digital Spy understands that some of the show's most central and long-standing characters like Darren, Luke, Mandy, Cindy and Nancy will be among those taking centre stage in the stunt week this year.
Cast and crew are gearing up to start filming the unmissable scenes in the coming weeks, ensuring that the big Six Weeks of Summer episodes are followed by an equally gripping autumn season.

"What's fantastic this time is that we'll be including some story threads which have been lying low, such as the paternity of DJ. We have a big love story that will explode, literally! And we have some eye-watering stunts as always.
"That leads into another great big story for characters connected to the stunt week, so it's a really big October for the show."
The inclusion of the baby DJ storyline is sure to mean an exciting return for Gary Lucy, who's making a full-time comeback as Luke Morgan after an extended break.
Hollyoaks fans know that Luke is the father of Mandy's young child, but Luke's other son Ollie has lied about the DNA test results by falsely claiming that Darren Osborne is the dad.
Last year's Hollyoaks stunt saw a deadly storm hit the village, causing the death of Tegan Lomax. A year earlier, there was a huge explosion at Hollyoaks High, caused by evil villain Mac Nightingale.
Tonight's E4 episode of the show marks the beginning of the Six Weeks of Summer episodes, dubbed "a killer summer" as ruthless Breda McQueen prepares to strike again.
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
