Mercedes is wound up about her family and thinks no-one has a good word to say about her.
Liam shows Mercedes his vulnerable side by telling her that he misses his dad. He decides to take her to the fairground. Afterwards, they get raunchy in Liam’s car and Mercedes is horrified to find a gun in the drawer.
Later, Sylver finds Max and Bobby not in school. Bobby asks Sylver whether he could get his homework from The Dog, as they’re scared of Liam being there. Sylver picks up the homework whilst Mercedes and Liam are there and sees Liam’s gun in his bag. He flips and goes to kick Liam out. A fight ensues and the gun goes off…
Meanwhile, it's Laurie and Sinead’s one year anniversary. Laurie surprises Sinead with breakfast and documents to officially change Hannah’s second name to Shelby, but Sinead completely forgot.
Sinead gets Tony to help her make a lavish dinner as a present. Laurie comes home and overhears Sinead telling Tony that Laurie can never know about ‘it’, referring to their past affair.
