Things have been quiet in Hollyoaks recently for Grace Black, and we would say that was a good thing, because the opposite usually means being murdered, cheated on, kidnapped and whatnot.
But for an actress, a quiet period probably isn't the most exciting. That's why Tamara Wall is so excited to get stuck in to her upcoming storylines.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy backstage at the National Television Awards, the actress said: "All I can tell you is that Grace does come back with a bang. Literally. Yeah, a big bang."
When asked if said 'bang' was an explosion, Wall replied: "I can’t tell you that, just that it’s big. She had a bit of a breakout, she had a lot of stuff going on with her family, and, in my personal life, I got engaged but you are going to see her come back with flying colours and a ridiculous story, it’s worth waiting for."
Returning to the soap after her engagement, Wall was reunited with Krupa Pattani, who plays her on-screen girlfriend Farrah Maalik. She says their relationship has continued in her absence and there is a "really nice" scene between them we can look forward to.
