Emmerdale's Pete Barton is left horrified later this month as troubled Dawn makes a move on him.
Pete (Anthony Quinlan) comes to Dawn's rescue when he spots her soliciting at an outdoor car park in town, but when he brings her back to the village and offers to let her stay for a while, she misreads the signals.
Wrongly expecting that Pete wants something in exchange for his kindness, Dawn (Olivia Bromley) tries to kiss him.
Pete rejects Dawn on the spot, but she quickly finds a way to turn the situation to her advantage by threatening to tell lies about him to his partner Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry).
Dawn warns that she'll claim Pete made a move on her unless he lets her stay on a longer-term basis, but Pete refuses to be pushed around and tells Rhona what really happened.
Rhona demands an explanation from Dawn, who lashes out by shoving her over and leaving her with a black eye.
