Tonight's (November 20) visit to Emmerdale welcomed the emergence of a new comedy double act.
Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) and Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) shared a number of brilliant scenes during the episode, mainly consisting of the two looking after Nicola's sick children at the office.
With Aaron away visiting Seb and Nicola frustrated and struggling with child care while her husband Jimmy is away on a haulage job, Robert stepped in to help Nicola, prompting her to also realise that Robert misses Seb.
And, as their Cheaper by the Dozen-esque situation escalated into moments of madness and laughter, Emmerdale viewers couldn't get enough of their onscreen chemistry.
Using Twitter to discuss the pair's wonderful scenes together, fans poured out all of their love in the hope of Robert and Nicola sharing more screen time in the future.
It seems like this plan could already be in motion, as they spent their time together usefully and devised a plan to solve both of their financial woes by seizing control of the haulage firm from Graham.
