Emmerdale is saying goodbye to Betty Eagleton with a celebratory video montage.
Paula Tilbrook signed off from the ITV soap in tonight's episode (May 25) as her character Betty decided to move to Australia.
Betty Eagleton was first seen on screen in Emmerdale way back in 1994, quickly becoming a favourite for her gossipy behavior.
Other memorable moments from her tenure include a romance with Seth Armstrong (Stan Richards) and her later struggle with his death.

Tilbrook confirmed that she would be ending her 21-year Emmerdale career just last month.
The actress is also well-known for playing multiple characters in fellow ITV soap Coronation Street from 1977 through 1993.
