Emmerdale's Cain Dingle left regretful over violent Nicky outburst

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Cain Dingle will be left regretting his actions on Emmerdale in upcoming scenes following his violent altercation with Nicky Milligan.

Nicky will get on the wrong side of Cain in scenes that air next week, with the schemer being caught after trying to steal from the garage.

After exchanging some harsh words, Cain punches Nicky, leaving him reeling on the floor and licking his wounds.

As Nicky’s dad Caleb watches on and refuses to get involved, Cain lands a punch on Nicky’s face, but his actions will have an effect on his mental health next week.

Elsewhere in the Dingle family, Belle will be set for a new romance following Thomas King’s return to the village after a decade away.

Executive producer Jane Hudson teased the developments at a recent press event for the soap, saying: “Jimmy's nephew Tom King will be coming back into the show. He's been living overseas for quite some time and then he's come back to England.

"He's qualified as a vet so I think we all probably know where he's going to be working,” she continued. “Of course Tom and Belle have a history, which – when they see each other – they rekindle. We will be on a journey with Tom and Belle for quite some time as we play out the story.”
