1. Emmerdale: Moira, Kyle, Amy, Mack, and Matty face the police

      As the investigation into Al's death continues, the police take Moira, Amy, Mackenzie, and Matty to the station for questioning. In the interview room, Moira and Amy stick to their stories, not wanting the detectives to know that they were aware of Kyle's guilt before his recent official confession.

      Mackenzie remains tight-lipped under interrogation from DS Malik. Matty is also desperate to protect his family, but is rattled when Malik reminds him of the serious consequences of perverting the course of justice.

      Following their ordeal, the foursome re-group back at Butlers, all too aware of the precarious situation they're in. Caleb is quick to reassure everyone, but becomes defensive when Moira and Amy question his methods.

      Later, Cain arranges a call with Moira, who's relieved they're back on speaking terms. But events take a sudden turn when DS Malik shows up at the farm to take Kyle back in for questioning.

      2. Coronation Street: Damon orders Jacob out of Weatherfield

      (Friday at 8pm on ITV)

      Jacob's suspicions are aroused when Damon introduces Leanne to Dan, a fruit and veg supplier who claims he can do her a great deal. It turns out that Jacob has every reason to be wary, as Damon informs him that Dan's first delivery is due that afternoon and hidden in the crate of olive oil will be a packet of drugs.

      Forced to go along with his dad's plan, Jacob waits for the delivery to arrive. But his anxiety mounts when a party of police officers turn up to the Bistro for a retirement party with their sniffer dog in tow.

      The crate of olive oil is delivered, and after swiping the stash, Jacob leaves the restaurant just as the sniffer dog starts barking at the crate. Deciding to investigate further, Craig heads to Jacob's flat. Will he get caught red-handed?

      Furious that his plot went wrong, Damon subjects Jacob to a savage beating, warning that if he wants to protect Amy, he should disappear for good.

      Terrified, Jacob owns up to Nick about Damon smuggling drugs through the business, and insists his only option now is to leave Weatherfield.

      3. EastEnders: Zack receives unexpected news

      Needing to make his mind up about the cruise ship job, Zack checks in with Whitney. Assuming it's what he wants, she tells him to go for it. However, Chelsea knows better and collars Zack, revealing that Whitney secretly wishes he would stay.

      Zack eventually decides to turn down the opportunity, and Whitney's elated. But just as Zack starts to look to the future, he's stunned to see his former acquaintance Brett hanging around Albert Square.

      Rattled by his arrival, Zack then learns that Sharon is interviewing Brett for a PT job at Crunch Time and tries to warn her against employing him.

      As the two men wind up in a heated confrontation, Zack orders Brett to leave Walford, but the newcomer shares some unexpected news.

      EastEnders bosses have confirmed that they're working on an important issue-based story, which begins when Brett reveals that he has been diagnosed with HIV and encourages Zack to get tested too.

      Zack quickly spirals into despair, and after drowning his sorrows at the club, he cruelly lashes out at Whitney and ends up cutting his hand on a smashed glass.

      Realising something is seriously wrong, Sharon tells her brother she's there for him when he's ready to talk. But Zack's unable to find the words, and alone in the kitchen of Walford East, he breaks down and sobs.

      4. Hollyoaks: Maxine's in serious danger from Eric

      (Tuesday at 7pm on E4 and Wednesday at 6pm on Channel 4)

      Maxine finds herself in grave danger when Eric takes her hostage and reveals his dark plans to finally be seen by the women of Hollyoaks village.

      Events come to a dramatic head in an hour-long episode as Eric seeks justice for Verity's death by putting the lives of other women in jeopardy. Can Maxine talk some sense into him before others get harmed?

      Elsewhere, the locals gather for Verity's funeral and honour her legacy by wearing bright clothes and playing her favourite songs. But as Eric's grief turns to hate and he becomes increasingly unstable, Maxine fears she won't escape his clutches with her life.

      5. Emmerdale: Mackenzie wants rid of Chloe

      Mackenzie is panicked when Sarah arrives with news of Chloe's collapse, and heads to the hospital to see her. His guilt builds as he listens to the tough time Chloe has been through. Sneaking a moment alone together, he assures her of his commitment to her and the baby.

      The next day, Nate hits a nerve when he suggests Mackenzie wants more to do with his unborn child than he's letting on.

      The situation gets even more uncomfortable when Chloe gets discharged from hospital and Charity and Sarah offer to take her home with them. Chloe is forced to accept their kind offer, and Mack struggles to mask his worry when he discovers she has moved in.

      In fear of their secret being outed, Mack tries to get Chloe out of the house, but will his efforts backfire?

      6. Coronation Street: David attacks Griff

      (Sunday at 7pm on ITV)

      After the police question him about his involvement with Griff's gang, Max is released without charge and returns to the Street. Max is terrified when Griff suddenly shows up at the house, but as Daryan alerts David to the danger, he rushes to his son's rescue and launches an attack on the far-right activist.

      Following the violent altercation, David treads carefully around Max, daring to hope the lad has turned a corner. Spider assures him that Max is a good kid, and that he should just have a bit of faith in him.

      Meanwhile, Max is tempted when Lauren announces she's going to stay with her mum in Devon and invites him to go with her.

      7. EastEnders: Ravi makes a move on Denise

      (Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One)

      Desperate to reignite the spark in her marriage, neglected Denise asks Lola to give her a makeover. Her glamorous new look doesn't go unnoticed by Ravi when she arrives to book a table for two at Walford East.

      Returning to Number 27, Denise suggests to Jack they make the most of having a free house, but her plans for a steamy night in are dashed.

      The following day, the couple wind up in another row when Amy and her mates get drunk and trash the house. Ravi steps in to help clear up the mess, and after a grateful Denise defends him to the Panesars, the pair bond over the perils of parenting.

      Tensions flare again when Amy accuses Denise of not caring about her, and it's the final straw when Jack also has a pop. Sick of her husband's attitude, Denise heads to Peggy's, where Ravi offers her a shoulder to cry on.

      After a flirty evening, Ravi walks Denise home. Taking his chance, he moves in for a kiss. Will she reciprocate his advances?

      8. Hollyoaks: The Chen-Williams family are torn apart

      (Thursday at 7pm on E4 and Friday at 6.30pm on Channel 4)

      Leah's in a state of shock following the disturbing discovery she made at the Chen-Williams house. Ste is there to offer his daughter support, and pledges to help bring Mason to justice on her terms.

      As events take an unsuspecting turn, Dave receives a text message that makes him fear for his daughters' safety.

      Later in the week, tensions are high in the Chen-Williams family, as all eyes are on one particular person.

      Heartbroken Honour and Dave try to defuse the situation and deal with everyone's anger and confusion, but are soon faced with a devastating decision to make.

      9. Home and Away: Marilyn comes home

      (Wednesday at 1.45pm on Channel 5)

      Despite hearing via Cash that Marilyn is safe and well, her loved ones remain in the dark about her whereabouts. Alf is struggling with the news that Marilyn doesn't want to be found, and lays into Cash for not letting them know where she is.

      Roo adopts a more diplomatic approach and is able to get some intel, so Nikau offers to accompany her on the search. The pair head to the city, where they soon find Marilyn volunteering at a youth shelter.

      Marilyn is reluctant to hear what they have to say and refuses to go home, so Roo and Nikau decide to join the volunteer force.

      Later, one of the young women steals Marilyn's handbag and Nikau jumps into action by chasing after her.

      Meanwhile, Roo realises Marilyn is helping desperate young people in an effort to absolve her guilt over abandoning Heather.

      The women have a heart-to-heart, and eventually, Marilyn agrees to return to the Bay, where she's met with a warm welcome from Irene, Alf, and Leah. Feeling thankful, Marilyn declares it's time for a new chapter — but first, she needs to make a statement to the police about Heather.
