Liam Cavanagh has rejected another kiss from former flame Bernice Blackstock in Emmerdale.
The two former lovers had a drunken kiss under the mistletoe, yet Bernice was horrified when Liam threw up on her shoe immediately afterward.

Tuesday's episode saw Nicola growing concerned as Bernice struggled with the onset of menopause, though she took too big a leap by assuming Bernice feared she was no longer attractive to men.

Nicola spoke about the situation with Liam, who later went by to have a chat with his former flame in hopes of cheering her up.
"Bernice, you are beautiful and delightful. You must never think you are the problem," Liam assured Bernice.
Bernice went to lean in for a kiss, but Liam stopped her cold: "Oh, no. No. No. No. No. No."
"Yeah, it's okay. I heard the first 'no'," Bernice insisted.

Liam apologised for the mixed signals, but insisted he wasn't looking for anything romantic. Bernice then warned him he needed to "cut out the flirting".
The doctor stuck his foot in it by explaining he was trying to flatter Bernice since he heard from Nicola she was feeling "fragile" because menopause was making her feel "out of sorts".
"Don't play the patronising doctor with me, Liam," Bernice shot back.
Bernice acknowledged that the on-set of menopause has been "hell", adding: "Sorry doesn't make me less like some kind of punchline on a bad menopause joke.
"Go. I don't want to hear any more lovely untruths from you."

After showing Liam out, Nicola questioned why Bernice was suddenly trying to kiss Liam after rejecting him a few months ago.
"I don't know," Bernice admitted. "I don't know why I do anything now."
While Nicola encouraged her friend to take her medication to ease some of the symptoms, Bernice insisted she was "not ready" to take that step.
Nicola was left concerned for Bernice as the episode came to an end.
