Emmerdale's Faith sparks chameleon chaos in emotional story

As Faith continues to find that her health is on the decline in Emmerdale, she resorts to an unusual tactic when it comes to spending more time with her grandchildren.

Keen to spend time with them all unsupervised so she can make sure they are left with fond memories of her, she decides that stealing a reptile is the best way to go.

While at the vets, she spots a chameleon and, thinking that the kids would love it, she decides that she will take it without asking – which goes about as well for Faith as you would expect.

Not long after she gets her hands on the stolen pet, the chameleon makes a break for freedom, and Faith is left in a state of panic when she realises that it has done a runner.

It doesn't take long for it to turn up though, and it gives Al quite the shock when it makes an unexpected arrival at the bar.

But just because the chameleon has been found safe and sound does not mean that Faith is off the hook, with both Chas and Cain making their feelings on her latest antics known.

Knowing that her time is limited, the pair are taken aback when a vulnerable Faith pleads with them to not stop her from seeing her grandchildren and making memories with them while she can.

But with the interest of their children first and foremost at the front of their minds, they know they have to play things carefully and they stick to their guns about how much access Faith has to them.

For Faith, it is yet another devastating blow, and she is left feeling like she is being forced to watch something else she cares deeply about being taken away.
