Emmerdale spoilers (September 5 to 9)

In next week's Emmerdale episodes, Nicola is determined to get the truth out of Naomi over her attack.

Elsewhere, Sandra continues to meddle with Liv and Vinny, switching Liv's drink to mess with her sobriety. And Faith has a big request for Cain.

1. Nicola takes action

Nicola's tearful when Harriet admits the police don't have enough evidence to prosecute Naomi. She decides to ignore advice and resolve the situation herself.

Charles is taken aback when Nicola confronts him over Naomi's actions and she threatens to end his and Manpreet's career.

2. Charles and Ethan are uneasy

Charles is uneasy about Nicola's plans for retribution and worries about how this will end.

When Rodney snaps at Ethan for his support of Naomi, Ethan is heartbroken to see Nicola struggling with her PTSD again.

Can he convince Naomi to do the right thing and tell the police everything she knows?

3. Nate splits with Naomi

Naomi is guilt-ridden when Nate demands answers about her involvement in Nicola's attack and her lies.

When Naomi pleads with Nate to see the real her, he ends things between them.

With Naomi upset, Nate later wonders if he has been too harsh.

4. Sandra meddles with Liv's marriage

Continuing to meddle in Liv and Vinny's marriage, Sandra convinces Gabby to ask Vinny about his "marriage problems".

Gabby is surprised when Vinny reveals he's never had sex. Liv sees them together, but soon realises Sandra has been manipulating the situation.

With one plan rumbled, Sandra comes up with another cruel scheme and updates Terry.

5. Liv's drink is switched

Sandra sneakily switches Liv's drink for an alcoholic one and Liv recoils when she takes a sip.

As Liv worries that this taste of alcohol has opened the door to her drinking again, Sandra stirs the situation with Vinny and later, he catches Liv out when she lies about swallowing her drink.

Liv storms out, leaving Vinny upset but Sandra is gleeful at her plan working.

6. Sandra makes Liv's life worse

Mandy is worried to hear Liv had alcohol again and Sandra continues to make the situation worse by fuelling Liv's insecurities about her alcoholism.

As Sandra keeps stirring, she suggests a last minute holiday abroad to get away from things.

With Liv completely oblivious to Sandra's cruel plans, will she cause Liv to hit rock bottom again?

7. Faith makes memories

Determined to make precious memories with Kyle and Sarah, Faith devises a way to see them without supervision and surprises them with a chameleon she has stolen from the vets.

After a frantic moment where the chameleon escapes in the pub, Cain and Chas rail at Faith for her stunt.

Their hearts break when Faith begs them to let her have fun and make memories with the children, but they maintain that she can't look after the grandchildren alone. Faith is distraught at another part of her life taken from her.

8. Faith makes a tough decision

As reality sinks in about her worsening health, Faith asks Cain to have lasting power of attorney over her life and she decides on a DNR.

Chas is stung that Cain was chosen over her, but she understands Faith's decision and the two siblings contemplate the bleak future ahead where Faith may not be able to make decisions anymore.

Shaken by Faith's request, Cain visits Ethan for advice.

9. Faith hallucinates that Cain is Shadrach

Cain goes to see Faith to finalise the power of attorney arrangement and go over her dying wishes.

The distress this causes makes Faith confused and she starts to believe Cain is Shadrach.

Faith picks up a frying pan and screams at a horrified Cain to get away.

10. Al confesses his love for Chas

ITV

Chas and Al relish in another moment of intimacy, but when Al confesses his love, Chas leaves quickly and both are left in turmoil.

Later on, Al reiterates his feelings for Chas, reassuring her it was more than just the heat of the moment. Seeing this vulnerable side to him, Chas begins to fall for him.

11. Mack confesses to Nate

Struggling with the guilt of cheating on Charity, Mack receives another text from his mystery woman, proposing she'll keep quiet.

Mack is desperate to unburden himself and confesses to a shocked Nate that he has cheated with someone local.

12. Clemmie is worried

ITV

Having only recently settled in at Home Farm, Clemmie's still adjusting to her new family.

When Kim starts planning to reunite with granddaughter Millie, talking about how much she has missed her, Clemmie starts to worry about where she fits in.
